Before René Lalique started to focus on the material glass around 1905, he was a jewellery designer. His designs found their way around the necks of many celebrities such as Sarah Bernhardt, Liane de Pougy, Emma Calvé and many Royals such as Alexandra of Denmark. He was also the first to present glass jewellery.
