Satinated glass and bleu patina with a decor depicting mermaids. Sirènes or mermaids are one of the epitomes of the art nouveau. French art nouveau conveyed the motto of 'Fleur, Fauna et Femmes' (flora, fauna and women). In particular women embodied the essence of female divinity, something so close embedded in the mind of fin-de-siecle and the dawn of the 20th century.
