Fauvettes A

A clear and satinated glass panel with a decor depicting warblers or songbirds sitting on branches. Lalique created three versions of this design each depicting the birds and branches in a diferent setting. The depicted piece is version A. The chrome plated base containes lightfixtures illuminating the panel from within.  The birds and branches are concave shaped forcing the light to shine only in those cavities mimicing the physics of facettes on gemstones.
